For this sound design project, I took a clip from the series Love, Death & Robots and completely stripped the original audio to recreate the entire soundscape from scratch. Every single sound effect is completely original; no pre-made libraries or external samples were used. I recorded all the physical sound effects using a microphone and various household objects, while designing all the melodic sound effects from scratch using software synthesizers. The core challenge was experimenting with everyday items to discover their hidden sonic potential, learning firsthand how to layer seemingly random textures together to achieve a powerful, cinematic final outcome.
